OUR SIN ISSUES

Is. 1:18 “Come now, let us argue this out,” says the LORD. “No matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can remove it. I can make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you as white as wool.” NLT

A few things to ponder on today. One is that we all have sin issues. No one is excluded. Sin is failure to live a godlike life. To not have sin is to be God. Sin leaves a stain on our lives. Sin affects us whether we realize it or not. It influences the way we think and live. It influence how we think about God and our desires for Him. The stain of sin can be very deep. It can make it nearly impossible for us to find our way to God. It can so cloud our thinking and dull our spiritual senses that the voice of God can no longer be heard.

Yet, no matter how much we sin God can help us. God can clean up the messiest soul. He can make the dirtiest sinner white as the purest snow. No matter how horrible the sin may be, Jesus can forgive it and make it go away. There is no one beyond the reach of God’s grace. No one. Sin sucks the life out of the soul, but Jesus can breathe into it eternal life. Sin pulls us away from God and causes us to suffocate to death. Jesus connects us to God that we might live.

Jesus is in the business of doing that which is impossible for man to do. He saves our souls. He cleans up our messes and makes us into children of God. Don’t believe the lie that Jesus can’t help you. He is able to help anyone who comes to Him for the forgiveness of their sin. He wants to help you today. What sin issue do you need help with today?
