HE IS ALL I NEED

Is. 9:6-7 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His ever expanding, peaceful government will never end. He will rule forever with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David. The passionate commitment of the LORD Almighty will guarantee this! NLT

Do not read through these verses too quickly. Pause and think and then let them sink deep into your mind and soul. Jesus is our Wonderful Counselor. There is no one who can help you to understand yourself and life like Jesus can. No one knows you better than Jesus does. He knows how to guide you into truth in a way that you understand best. Earthly counselors are helpful, but they are limited in what they can do. Let Jesus help you and see for yourself how wonderful of a counselor He really is.

Jesus is our Mighty God. There is no power or authority on earth that can compare. All things were made by Him and for Him. There is no limit to what the Lord can do for you, and no one and nothing can keep Him from doing what He desires to do.

Jesus is our Everlasting Father. He always has been and always will be our Father.

Jesus is our Prince of Peace. There is no real peace except that which flows from our Lord. Peace from Christ is that calm assurance that all is well between us and God. It is knowing that when we die, we will be with our Lord in heaven for all of eternity.

The kingdom of God is ever growing, and it cannot be stopped. No power or authority on earth is able to silence the Gospel message. The Lord’s reign is eternal and He himself will make sure that it is. The Lord guarantees that you are safe in His hands! Trust in Him and He will see you through whatever life may bring your way until He calls you home.

The passionate commitment of the Lord to us is our guarantee that we will make it home. He will not ever let us out of His sight or watchful care. He will always be with us to provide all that we need for healthy souls. He is our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. He is all I need. How about you?
