Eph. 1:22-23 And God has put all things under the authority of Christ, and he gave him this authority for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is filled by Christ who fills everything everywhere with his presence.

All means all. Christ has authority over all things. He has authority over all of creation, all of the demonic world, all of heaven, all of the church. There is no authority besides Him, no power equal to Him. God put all things under His rule. He did it for the benefit of the church.

There is enormous power available to us, His church, that we have never tapped into. With Christ's help, we can overcome anything, including all the demonic forces of hell. In Christ there is sufficient power for every believer to live in victory over sin. In Christ there is sufficient power for us to penetrate the darkness of the world and make a huge impact on it. There is power for us to stop Satan in his tracks. There is power to be a real difference maker in lives all around us. There is power to do whatever the Lord lays upon our hearts to do, and to do it well.

I wonder what would be different in the church, in the world, if we were to be so surrendered to Christ that His power could be released through us. I wonder what would happen if enough of us would say from the depth of our hearts, "I surrender all" and live like we mean it.

There is coming a day in which Jesus will exercise His authority and subject everyone to Him. Every knee will bow before Him in all creation, every knee on earth, every knee in heaven, and every knee in hell. He will be lifted up and acknowledged as the King of kings and Lord of lords. Let us not wait for that day to come. Let us be vessels wholly surrendered to Him now and see what the Lord can do in and through our lives.
