There is
no second doing of life. You only get one chance to get it right. You cannot
press a reverse button and do it all over again. If you mess up you have to
live with the consequences of what you have done. Therefore, strive to get
things right the first time. Do your best to live a life of honor before God
and man. Do what God has given you to do while you can do it. Don’t mess around
and half-heartedly serve the Lord. Give Him your best effort. You will die with
the consequences of how you have lived. While you have the time and energy to
do something about it, give of your best to the Master. Don’t put off another
day what you know God wants you to do. Today is the day of opportunity,
tomorrow may never come.
What are
you doing with your life? Are you doing your best to honor Christ with it? Don’t be like the majority who settle for
mediocrity in their lives. Do your best
to be the best you can be for that is what pleases God. How you live is a reflection of your true
feelings about Christ in you. He
deserves nothing but the best of you, not the leftovers.
Remember, God will reject those who are lukewarm followers of Him.
