Careful how you walk.

Josh. 22:5  “But be very careful to obey all the commands and the law that Moses gave to you.  Love the LORD your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, be faithful to him, and serve him with all your heart and soul.”

How careful are you to obey what you know of God’s law and commands?  Be honest.  How often do you reflect on God’s Word before you jump into life?  Maybe you don’t know much, but what are you doing with what you do know?

Love the Lord your God.  Love is an action word.  It is living close to God.  It is acting in such a way that others can see God in you.  Walk in all His ways.  Not only by what you know, but always strive to learn more.  Study His Word, listen to it spoken, and seek ways to apply it to life.  Obey His commands.   Don’t make excuses, just do it.  Be faithful to Him.  Don’t live as if you weren’t a Christian and expect Him to treat you like one.  Serve Him with all your heart and soul.  Put your heart into it.

He who half-heartedly serves the Lord cannot say that he really loves Him.  The same is true of one’s walk with the Lord.  True lovers of God walk in all His ways, they strive to obey Him, they are faithful to Him in all they do and say.  Half-hearted efforts to live for Christ are repulsive to Him and will be judged by Him as unworthy of the Kingdom of God.

Whatever you do for the Lord do it because you want to and not because you or someone else thinks you have to.  If you serve the Lord begrudgingly, you might as well not serve Him at all.
