WHAT ARE YOU KNOWN BY?

 WHAT ARE YOU KNOWN BY?

Job 1:1 There was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless, a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil. NLT

Job was known for the type of man he was. He was known as a man of great character, the type of a person you would want as a friend. Job was someone whom you could trust and someone whom God could trust. What a guy!

What are you known by? Can others say about you that you are completely trustworthy, blameless, and one who fears God and stays away from evil? Are you someone whom the Lord can vouch for your character? What needs to change in order for you to be someone whom God and others would want you as a friend whom they can rely on?

In order to be a person of character like Job, you must work hard at staying close to the heart of God. You must not let down your guard and always strive to live a godly life. You must take seriously your standing before God. You must grasp the consequences of evil and stay away from it. You must have a proper respect and reverence for God. You must consistently be right before God, whether you are in public or when you are alone.

In other words, you must faithfully work out your salvation daily in your life.
